Dr. Rehan Abdullah is a Lahore-based Consultant Clinical & Radiation Oncologist with more than thirteen years of experience caring for patients across the full spectrum of cancer — from the first conversation about a worrying scan, through treatment, to the long arc of follow-up. His practice is built on a simple conviction: a cancer diagnosis is a family event, not a personal one, and the care a patient receives should reflect that.
Dual-trained with fellowship and specialty training in both medical and radiation oncology, Dr. Rehan offers comprehensive cancer care under one roof — diagnosis, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, immunotherapy, targeted treatments, hormonal therapy, supportive care, and the long-term hematologic follow-up many patients need. He serves as Consultant Oncologist at INMOL Hospital, Lahore, with additional clinics at Farooq Hospital, Allama Iqbal Town, and Healthnox Medical Center, New Muslim Town.
The hours after a cancer diagnosis are some of the most disorienting of a person's life. Dr. Rehan's consultations are structured around making them less so. Every visit ends with a written plan in plain English, an explanation of the evidence behind it, and a frank conversation about what to expect — including the things that are difficult to hear.
"I never want a patient to walk out of my office with more questions than they came in with. The hardest part of cancer should be the cancer — not the confusion."
Modern cancer care is a team sport. Because Dr. Rehan is dual-trained in medical and radiation oncology, much of what would otherwise be split across two physicians stays unified under one — chemotherapy and radiation can be sequenced and adapted by the same person who knows the patient. Where surgical expertise is needed, Dr. Rehan personally coordinates referrals with trusted surgical-oncology colleagues across Lahore, and stays involved before, during, and after the operation so the plan never gets fragmented.
Many patients find their way to Dr. Rehan after a diagnosis has already been made — sometimes seeking confirmation, sometimes a different perspective, sometimes simply the time to think out loud. Second opinions are welcome and approached without ego: the goal is not to overrule another physician, but to make sure the patient and family feel confident in the path forward.
