Privacy Policy

Your medical information is confidential. This page explains, in plain English, what data we collect, why, and how it's protected.

Effective date: 22 May 2026

What we collect

When you contact the clinic — whether through WhatsApp, by phone, or in person — we may collect:

  • Your name, age, gender, and contact details (phone, email, address).
  • Information about your medical history, current symptoms, past investigations, and treatment.
  • Copies of medical reports, biopsy results, imaging studies, and prescriptions you share with us.
  • Notes from your consultations, including diagnoses, treatment plans, and prescribed medications.
  • Billing and payment information when receipts are issued.

Why we collect it

Patient records exist to deliver safe, continuous, high-quality cancer care. Specifically we use your information to:

  • Diagnose your condition and plan treatment.
  • Track your progress across visits.
  • Coordinate care with surgical, radiology, and pathology colleagues when needed.
  • Prescribe medications and generate receipts.
  • Contact you about appointments, results, and follow-up.

How your data is stored

Patient records are stored in a secure, password-protected practice console accessible only to Dr. Rehan Abdullah and authorised clinical staff. The database is kept on the clinic\'s own hosting account; it is not shared with any third party, advertiser, or analytics provider. Backups are retained for clinical continuity.

Who we share with

We share your medical information only with:

  • Other physicians involved in your care (surgical oncologist, radiologist, pathologist) — and only with your knowledge.
  • Your nominated family members or carers when you authorise us to.
  • Authorities, if compelled by law (e.g., notifiable disease reporting, court order).

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data, ever. We do not use it for marketing to third parties.

Your rights

You can, at any reasonable time, ask for:

  • A copy of your medical records.
  • A correction if you believe something is inaccurate.
  • Removal of information that is no longer relevant (subject to clinical record-keeping obligations).

Contact the clinic to make any of these requests.
